White   crystalline granules or crystalline powder

Main   Types

Anhydrous: White crystalline   powder, stable in air, no crystal water; suitable for moisture-sensitive   applications and chemical synthesis.   Dihydrate: Colorless or white crystalline granules, slightly   deliquescent in moist air, efflorescent in hot air, loses crystal water when   heated to 150°C; most common grade for food and pharmaceutical industries.

Physical   Properties

Anhydrous: White crystalline   powder, cool and salty taste, relative density 1.857 (23.5℃), melting point   300℃, soluble in water (pH 7.0-8.5), slightly alkaline, insoluble in ethanol,   odorless, decomposes above 240℃, stable in air.   Dihydrate: Colorless or white crystalline solid, odorless, cool salty   taste; soluble in water, insoluble in ethanol.

Key   Parameters

Assay:   ≥99.0% (as anhydrous basis)   Loss on Drying: Anhydrous ≤1.0%, Dihydrate 11.0%-13.0%   pH (1% solution): 7.0-9.0   Heavy Metals (as Pb): ≤10 mg/kg   Arsenic (As): ≤3 mg/kg   Sulfates: ≤0.02%   Chlorides: ≤0.02%   Oxalates: ≤0.01%   Calcium Salts: ≤0.02%

Features

Non-toxic,   high safety; excellent pH regulation and stability; strong chelating ability   with metal ions (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺, Cu²⁺, Fe²⁺, etc.); good buffering   capacity; easy soluble in water; low toxicity; compliant with   food/pharmaceutical grades.

Main   Applications

Food   Industry:   pH regulator, flavoring agent, buffering agent, emulsifier, stabilizer,   preservative, raising agent-; used with citric acid for jams, jellies,   juices, beverages, dairy products, pastries as gelling agent and nutrient   supplement-.   Pharmaceuticals: Anticoagulant (in vitro) via calcium chelation-,   expectorant, diuretic, biological buffer, pharmaceuticals, injections.   Water Treatment: Water softening agent (chelating Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺), metal ion chelating agent, pH   stabilizer-; scale inhibition and corrosion inhibition in cooling systems-;   flue gas desulfurization with citric acid-.   Industrial Applications: Electroplating (complexing agent and buffer   for nickel/copper/gold plating)-; detergent additive (replacing sodium   tripolyphosphate)-; concrete retarder (improving tensile, compressive, and   freeze-thaw resistance of cement products)-; ceramic grinding aid and   whitening agent-; photography chemicals, brewing, organic synthesis, textile   leveling buffer, cosmetics.

Packaging

25kg   woven bags (PE liner); jumbo bags (1000kg) and small packages (1kg, 5kg,   10kg) available upon request. Food-grade packaging complies with food safety   hygiene standards.

Storage   Conditions

Store   in cool, dry, well-ventilated area; keep sealed to prevent moisture   absorption; protect from high temperatures to prevent efflorescence   (dihydrate).

Shipping   Requirements

Non-hazardous   cargo; shipped as general cargo; protect from moisture, sunlight, and rain   during transport; handle with care. No special restrictions for either   anhydrous or dihydrate form.

FAQ

1. What are Jinyu Chemical primary product lines?
Our company specializes in petrochemicals (methanol, styrene, ethylene glycol), plastic resins (PP, PE, PVC, ABS), fine chemicals (pharmaceutical/pesticide intermediates, additives, solvents), chemical fiber raw materials (PTA, polyester filament, polyester staple fiber), inorganic chemicals (soda ash, caustic soda, titanium dioxide), as well as rubber, paraffin wax, and other products. We offer one-stop procurement services covering a wide range of categories.

2. Are you a trading company or a manufacturer?
We are a professional chemical trading company specializing in international trade. We have established long-term strategic partnerships with numerous high-quality domestic manufacturers to ensure a stable supply of goods and competitive pricing, while also providing comprehensive export services throughout the entire process.

3. Can you provide third-party inspection reports?
Yes. We provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with every shipment. Additionally, upon a client's request, we can arrange for inspections by third-party agencies such as SGS, BV, or ITS; the associated costs and details are negotiable.

4. What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
For plastic resins and chemical fiber raw materials, the MOQ typically starts at 1–5 tons, and we welcome small-batch trial orders. For liquid chemicals, bulk shipments start at 20 tons, while drummed shipments can be consolidated (LCL). For fine chemicals, the MOQ is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the specific product.

5. From which ports do you primarily ship?
Our company is located in close proximity to the Port of Tianjin. We can also arrange shipments from other major domestic ports—such as Qingdao or Shanghai—to meet our clients' specific requirements.

6. Can you handle the export of hazardous materials?
Yes. Our company holds a valid license for the operation of hazardous chemicals. We are well-versed in the procedures for hazardous material declaration, obtaining hazardous packaging certificates, and booking cargo space, thereby ensuring full compliance with all export regulations.

7. What payment methods do you accept?
Our standard payment terms are T/T (30% upfront deposit, with the remaining 70% payable upon presentation of a copy of the Bill of Lading) or Sight L/C (Letter of Credit). For small-batch sample orders, we also accept Western Union. For long-term partners—subject to a credit assessment—we may negotiate deferred L/C or Open Account (OA) terms.

8. What is your typical lead time?
For standard products, the lead time is typically 7–15 business days. For customized products or those with special specifications, it is 15–25 business days. For in-stock items, shipments can be dispatched within 3–7 business days after receipt of payment.
